HACKFINITI 2026 is open to all students, innovators, and tech enthusiasts from across India. Whether you're pursuing engineering, science, design, or any other field, if you have a passion for problem-solving and innovation, you're welcome to participate!

Do I need prior hackathon experience to participate?

Not at all! HACKFINITI is designed to be inclusive for all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned hacker or this is your first hackathon, we encourage you to participate. You'll have access to mentors and resources throughout the event to help you succeed.

Can teams be from different branches or colleges?

Yes! Teams can be formed with members from different branches and even different colleges. We encourage diverse teams as they bring varied perspectives and skills, leading to more innovative solutions.

What should we bring for the offline rounds?

For the offline rounds at BVRIT campus, teams should bring their own laptops, chargers, and any hardware required for their project. We'll provide internet access, power supply, and workspace. Don't forget to bring your student ID cards and any necessary documents.

Can we work on an existing idea or project?

You can build upon an existing idea, but all code and implementation done during the hackathon must be original and created during the 24-hour period. Pre-existing code or substantial prior work is not allowed. The focus should be on what you create during the event.

How are projects evaluated and judged?

Projects are evaluated based on multiple criteria including innovation and creativity, real-world impact and relevance, technical complexity and implementation, feasibility and scalability, functionality and completeness, and presentation quality. Judges will assess your work across all three rounds, with final winners determined by cumulative scores.

Will accommodation be provided for outstation participants?

Please contact the organizing team at infinititech@bvrit.ac.in for information regarding accommodation arrangements. We'll do our best to assist outstation participants.
